The Right Team for the Job

Palm Tree Auto Sales and Paradise Tire & Service have been in operation since 2001.  Our family assumed ownership in 2004 after having operated a similar business in Delray Beach for over 14 years.  We are very happy to have settled in Stuart and become part of the community.  In an effort to support our community, we sponsor a local baseball team, and we always offer our new neighbors a complimentary oil change.

Joe Compagno – President and Lead Mechanic

Joe started working as a mechanic over 40 years ago in New York.  He also owned and operated a gas station.  After relocating to Florida with his family, he eventually established an automotive shop and used car lot in Delray Beach.

The best thing about Joe is that he can probably fix just about anything.  But, fixing sometimes takes longer than replacing, and we prefer to get you on the road sooner rather than later.  So, don’t be surprised if you see a little argument between Joe and Anthony about fixing vs. replacing.  Fortunately for you, it all stems from a conscious effort to get the customer the fastest, most reliable, and cost effective service.

Anthony Compagno – General Manager

Ironically, Anthony is the baby of the family, but has outgrown all of us by several inches.  Despite being the baby, he has undoubtedly become one of the main cornerstones that supports our family and family business.

Anthony might be what you call the “brains of the operation.”  He coordinates management of the sales center with his brother John as well as management of the service center with the Service Manager, Rob.  Part of his sense for business stems from his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (Go Knights!).

After graduating college, Anthony considered starting his own business.  But he saw that Dad could use some help, so he applied for the job.  Thus, the old world joined with the new. 

 John Compagno – Finance Manager

John is the leader of the pack as the oldest child in the trio produced by Joe and his wife Lucille.  John was your typical first child – always trying to ditch his younger siblings (no offense first child folks).  But, it did him no good.  He now sees his little brother every day, and talks to his sister all the time. 

John actually started his post-graduate career with a debt consolidation company.   So, needless to say, he’s pretty good with numbers.  Several years ago he decided to pursue a business opportunity in Georgia, also in debt consolidation.  Turned out Georgia just wasn’t for him, so back to sunny South Florida he came.

Upon his return, John joined the family biz.  He is largely responsible for the sales center with an emphasis on assisting customers with financing.  And, while being the numbers guy might sound kind of dull, John is also one the many comedians of the group.  So even if you are talking numbers, he’ll have a smile on your face.

Steve Boulet – General Sales Manager

Steve is the newest member to join our team.  He is originally from Connecticut, but has been in Florida now for over 10 years.  He has a passion for cars, especially hot rods.  Steve is also a veteran and a member of the American Legion, Elks Club, Knights of Columbus, and Disabled American Veterans just to name a few.  With over 35 years experience in the car business, he brings a lot of knowledge to the table.  Steve handles everything from marketing to inventory management, as well as sales.
